ACCC recalls water wings sold online

Product Safety Australia has recalled Seahorse Water Wings sold by online trader Temple & Webster Pty Ltd as the product does not comply with Australian standards.

What are the defects?

The product does not comply with marking requirements of the mandatory standard "Consumer Goods (Swimming and Flotation Aids) Safety Standard 2017".

What are the hazards?

Users may not be aware of important safety information. There is an increased risk of drowning if the product is not used as intended.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should discontinue use of the product and contact Temple & Webster Pty Ltd for a full refund.
