Advice on requirements for re-opening public pools
Public swimming pools are starting to open back up again. However, different states have varying requirements for the pools to be able to welcome swimmers, and even these requirements are changing rapidly - this is particularly the case in Victoria, as it struggles through a resurgence in infections.
There is much more information on the opening up of public pools in the upcoming Edition 130 of SPLASH! Subscribe here to get your free digital version of the magazine when it publishes.
The Australian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association (ASCTA) has put together some infographics and links to help public pool operators and swim schools navigate the changes. People who have questions about the requirements in different states, or want to get copies of the infographics for their state, contact ASCTA executive officer Gary Toner on gary@ascta.com.
