AIS increases production of water disinfection equipment with big new factory
Australian Innovative Systems (AIS) has purchased a fourth production facility just across the road from the company’s head office at 51 Millenium Street, Tingalpa, Queensland to satisfy the increasing demand for AIS’s chlorine generators and water disinfection technology.
The new, 1900m2 facility at 50 Millenium Street opens next week and will house AIS’s commercial production and research and development departments with the company’s management, residential production and anode production facilities remaining at their current, head office location.
AIS CEO Elena Gosse said that as AIS’s 20 year-plus reputation for quality and innovation had grown, so too had the demand for its products. The decision to consolidate all areas of the business into the one street will allow AIS to increase production capacity by 150 per percent as well as improve the working environment for its more than 50 employees.
“It is certainly an exciting time in AIS’s history as we expand our business and centrally locate our teams in order to meet increasing market demand for our products,” says Gosse.
“We see the consolidation of our production facilities in one location as an opportunity to further improve our standards of production and quality control; enhance the level of collaboration between our staff; increase creativity and innovation and improve our operational efficiencies.
“With our technology exported to over 55 countries I am very proud that we are expanding and remaining an Australian owned and operated business at a time where many other businesses are moving their manufacturing plants offshore.”
