Aussie Chloe McCardel closes on English Channel swim record

Australian marathon swimmer Chloe McCardel has equalled Des Renford's Australian record for crossings of the English Channel, having completed her 19th crossing. She is currently preparing to take on the Channel for the 20th time to claim the title for the most crossings by an Australian.

McCardel is sponsored by two swimming pool and spa industry companies, Lo-Chlor Chemicals and TPEC pool enclosures. Visitors to SPLASH! on the Gold Coast would have seen her at the trade show and hosting the SPASA Australia Awards.
