Australian-made pool enclosures
Pool cover specialist Remco has now set up a Melbourne manufacturing operation to make outdoor pool enclosures.
Remco says their new Residential Pool Enclosures can be easily opened by one person, either manually or electrically.
The semi-separate elements stack telescopically into each other, making it easy to retain the “outdoor pool” ambience when the weather is fine. During autumn, winter and early spring, the swimming pool enclosure can stay closed allowing the user to enjoy the pool all year around.
By incorporating an enclosure, there will be a significant reduction in heat loss, while still capturing solar energy, which can increase water temperatures by between five- and 10-degrees, while also eliminating evaporation.
The enclosures also provide skin protection from damaging UV light, filtering out 98 per cent of UV rays. As an added bonus, the enclosures provide 100 per cent protection from leaves, dirt and debris. It can be equipped with childproof locks, adding another layer of protection for children and pets.
Remco’s Commercial Pool Enclosures can be manufactured as large as Olympic size while still being completely retractable. This allows greater use of existing outdoor pools and continued revenue stream through the colder months, with the flexibility of retaining the outdoor pool when the weather is fine.
Many other applications are possible for this type of structures including retractable roofs, sunroom enclosures, greenhouses, smoking area enclosures and outdoor restaurant enclosures.
Remco Enclosures are manufactured under license to a German manufacturer and display the characteristics of good design and top engineering. All models have the approved rating of the German equivalent of Standards Australia, the “TUV”.
