Consumers brave the rain at Rosehill
A weekend of shocking Sydney weather, which included mini-tornadoes hurtling through the Eastern Suburbs, was not enough to deter some hardy consumers keen to get to the Sydney Consumer Pool and Spa Show.
Although the weather made life difficult for visitors, it seemed to be generally accepted that those who braved the wind and rain were serious about buying or updating their swimming pool or spa.
The Swimming Pool and Spa Alliance said in a statement that it was not entirely unexpected that visitor numbers were slightly down on 2012, but the general consensus after talking with many exhibitors was that the level of genuine inquiry had surpassed expectations and that they were very satisfied with the leads generated.
There will be some more images from the show in the April printed edition of SPLASH!
