Splash Magazine

The new Emergency Response Planning (ERP) online training course has been launched by the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF).  The course teaches managers how to develop an effective emergency response action plan. Establishing an ERP is the critical first step organisations can take to minimise injuries to staff and patrons, and administer care when responding to emergencies.

This interactive course features narration, images, video, and exercises and includes a copy of the recently published NSPF handbook Emergency Response Planning. The course can be completed in about two hours and costs $US50.00 per student.

Participants can register for the Emergency Response Planning online training course at www.nspf.org and click on online training, or email info@nspf.org for more information. The ERP Handbook is 58 pages and illustrated with four-color photos throughout. It is published by NSPF and can be purchased separately for $US19.95 plus shipping.

The free copy of the ERP handbook has been won by Chris of Corowa, but keep an out for the latest issue of the printed version of SPLASH! for further giveaways, and also look out for the next eNews for further giveaways.
