Have your say on industry training and qualifications

The nationally recognised qualifications for the Swimming Pool and Spa Building and Service sectors are being reviewed to ensure that students who complete courses can meet employer expectations, knowledge and skills required.

In this regard, SPASA as the peak industry body and the only RTO dedicated to the swimming pool and spa industry in Australia has been working with Artibus Innovation to make this happen.

Lindsay McGrath CEO of SPASA Australia says that SPASA has been lobbying the various government authorities for many years to advocate the level of professionalism this industry offers to the community.

"We now have the support of Artibus Innovation who have been commissioned by the Australian government to support the Industry."

This potential funding is based on your support and attendance at the 8 workshops held around the country listed below.

"Please take this opportunity for personal input into what our trades look like for the immediate future. This will have direct impact on licensing, traineeships, apprenticeships, certification and qualifications across the wide variety of skills this industry provides the consumer."
