Have your say on South Australia's new planning system
South Australia is deciding the draft Planning, Development and Infrastructure (General) (Development Assessment) Variation Regulations 2019 (the draft Regulations), as well as four draft practice directions, which support the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016.
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure South Australia wants to hear your views on what you believe are the key issues in the draft Regulations which relate to development assessment and how the draft Regulations can better support the new development assessment system.
The draft Regulations and four Practice Directions cover these areas which stakeholders are required to consider:
• Relevant authorities
• Application time frames
• Information requirements
• Public notification
• Variations
• Exemptions
• ePlanning
• Building matters.
