Hayward Pool Products builds new hi-tech Australian headquarters in Victorian eco park

Hayward Pool Products (Australia) Pty Ltd, has opened a new hi-tech headquarters in Victoria’s first integrated eco-industrial business park, Logis Estate in Dandenong South.

While Hayward’s Australian operations are based out of Melbourne, they have additional branches in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Maintaining four branches across the country allows Hayward to hold a significant amount of inventory, offering speedy customer and technical service to its national Totally Hayward Dealer network.

However, Hayward’s increase in local market share has seen its head office, national distribution centre and state branch begin to outgrow the current site. Recognising the need to expand, Hayward engaged Elite Property Group to manage and purposely build premises which would have enough floor space to cover their warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and service facilities, with a fully functional customer training area all under the one roof.

Hayward moved into the new facility in December, and a celebration was held in January to launch the new premises to customers, distributors and suppliers. Guests toured the warehouse, office and distribution facilities, while enjoying food, drink and live entertainment.

“The night was a huge success,” says managing director Tony Sharpe. “We encourage all pool shop staff, pool builders and service teams that couldn’t attend to drop in, view our premises, browse our product range, enjoy a coffee and have a chat with our team members.”

Hayward Pool Products (Australia) Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of the world’s largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment – Hayward, headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA with a sales organisation stretching throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia.

The new facility is located at 2 Cubitt Way, Dandenong South, Victoria.
