New Public Health Regulation open for submissions

The draft of the NSW Public Health Regulation 2011 and the accompanying Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) have been uploaded on the NSW Health website.

NSW Health is about to introduce a whole new regulatory framework, which affects operators of public swimming pools. They are in the process of moving away from Risk Management, over to a more prescriptive method.

This draft has been long anticipated and is finally available for comment. However, submissions must be made prior to November 11, 2011.
