New Zealand pool show opens May 3

There are only eight days to go until the inaugural Pool, Spa and Outdoor Living Expo will be held in Auckland.

This event is unique as it is both a consumer expo and a trade show. The first day, Friday May 3, is a networking and trade day for the industry, followed by two full days on the weekend of May 4 and May 5 for consumers to come and peruse the great array of pool and spa products and services.

There will be a huge selection of pool and spa designs to suit all lifestyles and budgets as well as a landscape design feature to help inspire outdoor projects and backyard renovation.

Growing the industry

SPASA CEO Lindsay McGrath says that the consumer side of the expo is important because it promotes the industry and is a significant marketing tool to grow the entire pool and spa market, which in turn grows businesses’ market share.

“A diverse market campaign is underway and we would love your help,” he says. “One of the best demographics to promote pool and spa ownership is an existing pool and spa owner.”

He has asked industry members to spread the word about the event, including by liking the Facebook page and sharing the links.

“I look forward to seeing you on Friday the 3rd of May for the trade day,” he says.
