NSW Government asks for help rewriting planning system
Interested parties - including builders and architects - are being given a further opportunity to help re-write the State’s planning system.
Minister for Planning and Infrastructure Brad Hazzard has released an issues paper, compiled by the Planning System Review panel co-chairs, Tim Moore and Ron Dyer. The issues paper outlines the key themes and questions raised in the consultation undertaken since early August, which included 91 community forums attended by nearly 2000 people and more than 70 stakeholder meetings.
Further feedback is being sought on the key themes, to help guide the development of policy options which will be released in 2012.
Comments and submissions on the issues paper can be lodged until February 17, 2012 by clicking here and following the links.
