Perth consumer expo shows WA on the up

SPASA WA says their “Get Ready for Summer” Pool Spa & Outdoor Living Expo last weekend was judged a success by both exhibitors and attending consumers.

Held at Claremont Showground, the sell-out event saw an increase in attendance compared to the same show last year, with a SPASA WA spokesperson saying it shows an increasing number of people are wanting to add a spa or a pool or improve their backyard, meaning more business for members.

“It’s no secret that the economy in Western Australia has struggled over the past two to three years, thus impacting discretionary spending. The vibe and confidence shown by consumers who attended the expo is a positive sign for our industry.”

They say the expo is the perfect opportunity for consumers to come along and meet with industry experts, as well as take advantage of some fantastic specials on offer from exhibiting companies all under one roof – and it is timed for consumers who are ready to purchase and want to be swimming by summer.

The next Pool Spa & Outdoor Living Expo will be held in March 2019.
