Perth slide is now officially tallest inflatable waterslide in the world
March 8th, 2016
The new tallest inflatable waterslide in the world has been crowned at Perth’s Xscape at the City pop-up waterpark.
In February, the Nova Drop dual-lane inflatable racer slide was officially measured at 22.4 metres high, smashing the previous record of 12.9 metres held by the Big Wedgie in Glenelg, South Australia.
Xscape at the City, Australia’s first pop-up water park, will be open until April 2016. It is located at Belmont Park, just 4km from the centre of Perth.
The Guinness World Record ride was taken by Stephen Philp, the CEO of the US slide manufacturer Freestyle, and the official Guinness World Record judge was on hand to verify the record.
