Polin Waterparks makes waves with Wow alliance

The Belgian-based developer and manufacturer of the Wave Ball, Wow Company, and Turkish-based global water slide manufacturer Polin Waterparks have formed a strategic alliance. Polin will now exclusively distribute Wow’s unique Wave Ball low-energy wave-generating machines in 39 countries and work as Wow’s global sales partner.

Paolo Danubıo, sales manager for Wow, says the venture is a way for both companies to drive new growth opportunities.

“The distribution agreement is a natural fit that will allow us to serve the growing demand for these types of products in the aquatics industry,” he says.

Today, more than 300 Wave Balls are installed in 46 countries worldwide and in facilities ranging from aquatic parks, campsites, public pools, recreational centres, resorts, aquariums, animal tanks, private pools and rescue and survival training centres.

Meanwhile, Polin has also made an alliance with American Wave Machines, the US manufacturer of the Surfstream surfing machines.

Polin has developed more than 2500 waterpark projects in 93 countries worldwide.
