Pool-Water Products sales manager Tony White retires from pool industry

Pool-Water Products (PWP) sales manager Tony White has retired after more than 30 years in the industry and more than 10 years of devoted service to the company.

General manager Rohan Beasley says that his enthusiasm and quirky sense of humour will be sadly missed.

White joined the company in July 2005 as one of only nine employees on the payroll. Responsible for internal sales, he developed strong and lasting relationships with a number of PWP dealers, and is well respected within the industry due to his vast knowledge resulting from more than three decades in the pool industry.

“Tony has been lucky enough to witness the evolution of both the swimming pool and spa industry and Pool-Water Products over the years, seeing it grow from a simple trade to a dynamic, professional, and technical industry,” says Beasley.

White was introduced to the industry as a state manager with chemical supplier Abel Lemon. He then went on to work for Adelaide Pool Supplies, Aquaswim, SPASA Victoria and Poolstore International, before finally settling with Pool-Water Products.

“Tony’s willingness to put in extra time and effort to help the dealers meet both their deadlines and customer expectations, demonstrated a commitment to excellence that we have come to depend upon at PWP. In addition to his valuable competence and skill, he has been a friend to all with his easy-going personality and reliability to the company,” says Beasley.

Meanwhile, Pool-Water Products has appointed Aquatech Products P/L, owned by Daniel Woodward, as agent to represent Paramount Pool Products in Western Australia.

Aquatech Products is located in Perth, and specialises in a range of high end quality swimming pool products. Woodward has a broad knowledge and more than 10 years’ experience in the swimming pool and spa industry, and is able to confidently support the Paramount brand of infloor cleaning systems, having been involved with the product on all levels of sales, installation and service. Aquatech Products will be responsible for all face-to-face communication with the WA dealers.
