Poolwerx appoints new franchise development head

Poolwerx has appointed Kellie Cranch to the newly created role of chief of franchise development, tasked with facilitating growth within the network across all regions.

Cranch has been a franchisee and also held management roles in some of Australia’s largest food franchise businesses.

“Poolwerx has always been a business I have admired due to their reputation within the franchise sector and innovation within the pool services industry,” she says.

“John O’Brien’s standing within the industry is impressive, as is the growth of Poolwerx into a successful international brand. Bringing in what I’ve learnt to assist franchisees to grow their businesses and for a franchisor to achieve its growth targets, Poolwerx is the perfect transition for me.”

Chief operating officer Nic Brill says Cranch brings invaluable experience to the business as she understands what it means to be a franchise owner.

“Kellie knows exactly what our current and prospective franchise partners are going through, because she’s experienced those challenges herself,” he says. “She’s built her expertise over more than a decade across two of our operating countries (Australia and NZ) so is well versed to support our network to become even more profitable. We are thrilled to welcome Kellie to the senior leadership team as we continue to set a new standard in business.”

Her role will see her focus on new recruitment for franchise partners, re-sales, leases, refurbishments and project management to help build Poolwerx businesses for franchise partners.
