PQ to manufacture in WA

Premium Quality Pool Products (PQ) will shortly commence manufacturing and increase its warehouse capabilities in Western Australia. The new entity will be known locally as Premium Quality Pool Products (WA) and will be a joint venture with Austral managing director Jon Richardson.

 

Both Jon Richardson and PQ CEO David Raines saw the need some years ago to manufacture locally in order to meet market growth and their demands. Their due diligence also resulted in the same outcome. Raines says PQ needed to partner with a leader in the WA market, and Richardson’s Austral Pool Solutions was the perfect strategic choice. He also says the WA arm will emulate the principles of PQ generally, which includes working as a strategic partner with suppliers and customers.
