SPASA Australia shortlisted for Association of the Year award
The Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia (SPASA) has been shortlisted as an Association of the Year finalist.
Judged by the Associations Forum – a body committed to assisting associations and charities in governance, operations, membership and finances – the Association of the Year Award is presented to an association that has distinguished itself by achieving all-round excellence.
Even to be listed as a finalist is a great accolade for the association and a mark of respect for the pool and spa industry.
Recognition of tireless work
“Recognition as a finalist comes after SPASA’s 2017 move to unify the industry alongside our strength in advocating and education, whilst delivering valuable member benefits as well as prudent association management,” says SPASA CEO, Lindsay McGrath.
“Because of our guardianship and the support from our highly loyal membership, SPASA has been able to steer the swimming pool and spa industry to grow, create jobs and operate more efficiently and sustainably.
“Being named as an Association of the Year finalist is a great tribute to the entire SPASA team, board and the many individuals who, over many years, have worked tirelessly to ensure that SPASA is the national voice of the industry,” he says.
The awards were presented at the Associations Forum National Conference Dinner in July, together with the inductees to the Associations Hall of Fame.
