SPASA's new home warranty insurance

SPASA NSW is launching its own SPASA-branded Home Warranty Insurance Policy in conjunction with one of Australia’s leading insurance companies.

The Home Warranty Insurance Policy will initially be available to all members of SPASA (NSW). For the first time, SPASA NSW members will have access to detailed information on premiums, claims and other relevant data which has not been previously made available by the insurance companies.

 

The intention is for the SPASA Branded Home Warranty Insurance Policy to ultimately morph into a SPASA Home Warranty Product which will be underwritten by SPASA. The benefit of this is that in due course, SPASA will have better control of eligibility for applicants and premium costs, as well as having better control over the draconian terms some insurers impose.
