The highest pool in the world
This Hong Kong pool gives you quite a view from 118 floors above the harbour.
The recently opened Ritz-Carlton is the tallest building in Hong Kong and the tallest hotel in the world, with the top rooms almost 500 metres above the ground.
But the hotel has another claim to fame: the highest swimming pool in the world – set way up on the 118th floor.
Full length glass windows overlook the spectacular skyline of Hong Kong and the glittering Victoria Harbour, as the guests relax and enjoy their stay in – and view of – one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
The 19-metre high pool room ceiling comprises 144 LED screens, so if guests are bored of the view they can watch videos instead.
While rooms can be as expensive as $AU10,000 for the Presidential Suite, even those on a lowly $AU700 per night room will be able to enjoy the pool while soaking up one of the best views in the world.
