Victoria shows off to consumers

The Melbourne consumer pool and spa show had plenty of families come through, particularly on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday

The SPASA Victoria consumer pool and spa expo held recently was the biggest Melbourne pool show ever.

Exhibition manager Vee Johnson says this is the first time they’ve taken on five bays, giving them a total floor space of nearly 4000 square metres.

This year the show has attracted more outdoor and leisure companies, which Johnson says was at the request of visitors as well as exhibitors who believe it complements their offerings.

“The last couple of years we hadn’t been able to include the outdoor furniture and barbecue people. But this year we did and increased the show by 25 per cent.”

There were 15 concrete and fibreglass pool builders as well about 100 spa models on display, including 31 hardwired for demonstration.

The show was open to trade and public on Friday, with mums and dads pouring in on the weekend.
