Victorian consumer pool and spa show grows on back of big spend
The SPASA Victoria Pool & Spa + Outdoor Living Expo was held in February with consumers taking advantage of the good weather to turn up in big numbers.
More than $250,000 had been allocated towards marketing, with SPASA Victoria saying this was the largest promotional spend for an Australian consumer show in history.
“We are highly satisfied with the event again this year,” says SPASA Victoria CEO Brendan Watkins. “So many of the stands in the exhibition have been outstanding and the general atmosphere was very positive. The excellent visitor figures and members reporting of quality leads demonstrate that the industry is flourishing.”
New at this year’s show was the Outdoor Living Design Hub, where consumers were free to seek advice on all aspects of renovation and walked away armed with tips and advice to get their project underway.
Australian rules footballer Campbell Brown and Australian champion netballer Madison Robinson completed a head-to-head swim spa sprint challenge to raise money for Kidsafe, with Robinson taking the final honours.
