Waterco moves into France

Australian company Waterco's European division has opened a new facility in France.

Located in Lyon, Waterco’s new office will allow the company to service neighbouring countries as well as the French market. The office will be headed by Jose Angel-Gonzalez, an industry professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the European swimming pool market.

“Waterco Europe has always been focused on expanding its European operation through either expansion or acquisitions,” says Tony Fisher, managing director of Waterco Europe. “France is possibly the largest swimming pool market in Europe, and has always been an important part of Waterco’s continued growth, so it made sense to open an operation there.”

The new facility will also assist in servicing Waterco’s customers in surrounding countries, predominantly those located in Southern Europe.
