Anti-infinity pressure heats up
Mainstream media interest and the attention of the Remove Red Tape website sees the NSW anti-infinity changes remaining firmly in the spotlight.
Articles were published in the Sydney Morning Herald and Sun-Herald over the weekend of 23-24 August, quoting industry members and real estate representatives who rank the changes as "crazy" and "stupid".
This week, the Remove Red Tape website has posted its weekly question on the anti-infinity changes.
The website, run by building inspector Peter Boyce, asks "Should the Building Code Of Australia be amended to delete the NSW variations for swimming barriers?"
Meanwhile, the Swimming Pool & Spa Alliance has imposed a $150 dollar levy to get expert legal advice on the changes.
