Industry specific chemical code launched

Following July's launch of The National Code of Practice for Chemicals of Security Concern, the Swimming Pool & Spa Alliance in liaison with the Attorney General's Department has launched an industry specific code.

The Chemical Security Voluntary Code of Practice is based on the National Code of Practice and contains information so pool chemical retailers can better protect their chemicals from theft – and in particular from falling into the wrong hands.

The Attorney General's department will be presenting information on the code at the upcoming SPASA Convention.
