Lo-Chlor complete with Poolgard acquisition

Lo-Chlor is preparing to drop the tag “specialty chemical supplier” after purchasing Poolgard Pty Ltd. The acquisition now provides them with a complete range of pool chemicals including sanitisers, balancers and adjusters.

Previously, when Lo-Chlor enlarged its product range, it was always done by adding new specialty chemicals. However, Lo-Chlor said in a statement that changing times and trends have caused the company to spread its wings by adding a complete range of pool chemicals, to bolster its current range of specialty chemicals, which is the largest in Australia.

The Poolgard range contains a comprehensive assortment of popular and sought after sanitisers, balancers and adjusters presented in attractively labelled packaging. Lo-Chlor said the new Poolgard products will contain high grade constituents to match the high quality of the Lo-Chlor range of specialty chemicals. Lo-Chlor also said that the same friendly, professional back-up service and prompt delivery will apply to the new chemicals that currently applies to their specialty products.

Lo-Chlor will not be picking up any of the Poolgard specialty products (algaecides, clarifiers, cleaning and maintenance products etc.) as they already have their own Lo-Chlor specialty products.
