Norfolk Pools wins 2021 Queensland Pool of the Year

SPASA Australia held the Queensland Awards of Excellence on June 11 and 12 with the winning Pool of the Year Award going to Norfolk Pools. This pool will now go into the National Pool of the Year Award to be presented on the Gold Coast as part of SPLASH! Week.

SPASA sales and marketing manager Luke Daly says the past 12 months have seen drastic changes in how events are presented, and this program was no exception.

“It’s amazing to be able to say we’re back, bigger and better than before! It’s beautiful to see the awards back in full swing with everyone dressed up to the nines. I’ve loved joining wonderful people from great organisations to celebrate the excellence our industry offers to the community. Congratulations to all involved and I look forward to going bigger and better next year!”

With the expansion of the awards to over 70 categories incorporating all sectors of the industry, the program is now announced in a hybrid fashion over two days in each region.

First, using an online webcast streamed straight to viewers watching at their home, office or spa – then, catching up the following evening with industry friends and colleagues over dinner.

Friday June 11 saw Queensland’s virtual awards announcement, hosted by Marianne Van Dorslar with guest appearances from SPASA chair Stefan Ossenberg, SPASA COO Spiros Dassakis and magician Josh Norbido.

Saturday June 12 saw Queensland members and guests get together for the first time in two years at the W Hotel in Brisbane to celebrate the best of the industry.
