This month there is a meeting in Queensland regarding pool inspections; while next month in NSW there are short intensive courses on inspecting swimming pool and spa safety barriers.

Queensland meeting

SPASA Queensland is hosting a meeting with a representative of Building Codes Queensland on behalf of the Pool Safety Council (PSC).

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain information and to discuss issues important to Pool Safety Inspectors. The representative of the Department will be the only guest speaker and has been asked to provide an overview of the PSC in its first period of operation and where possible to highlight future directions. They have also been asked to address a range of issues raised by inspectors responding to an indication of interest and to allow plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

Time: 10.00am

Day: Tuesday 27 March 2012

Venue: SPASA Office

22 Chester Street

Newstead

RSVP: By close of business Friday 23/3/12 to Glenda@spasa.com.au or call (07) 3252 6777.
