SPLASH! 2020 Call for Papers extended

Interpoint, organiser of the SPLASH! Pool & Spa Trade Shows on behalf of SPASA Australia, is inviting speaker submissions for presentations as part of the education program for SPLASH! 2020.

The deadline for submissions has now been extended to 5pm on Friday 13th December 2019.

The SPLASH! education program is a major feature of the expo and is hugely popular with the more than 2000 visitors.

“We would like to hear from speakers on popular education topics like water chemistry, landscaping, hydraulics, green technology, chlorination and chemicals, as well as marketing and HR for pool and spa business owners,” says event organiser Simon Cooper.

He says there is also the opportunity for leisure and commercial aquatic parks to speak about the day-to-day challenges they face running their facilities, and how their learnings can be passed onto pool and spa operators.

The SPLASH! education program is a unique opportunity to highlight breakthrough technologies, present the latest research findings, discuss key issues in the pool industry or introduce new product developments to a captive audience.

This year for the first time the education program will run in rooms on the expo floor, increasing exhibition foot traffic and education program participation.

Submissions

To make a submission, send a session title and an abstract (around 100-150 words), as well as speaker contact information and a short biography (100-150 words). Presentations are generally 45 minutes long with additional allocated question time.

Papers will be selected on the basis of relevance, originality, topicality and the ability to provide solutions to current industry issues. Selection will be made by the SPLASH! Program Committee.

Sales presentations and pure product promotions will not be accepted.

Call for Papers submissions will close at 5pm on Friday 13th December 2019.
