Tender for resort-style pool on NSW Central Coast

The City of Lake Macquarie has put out a revised tender deadline for the design and construction of a resort style swimming pool consisting of a children's pool, adjoining main pool and other associated works. The Contractor will be required to lodge a Development Application and Construction Certificate for the works with Council. The works include the design and construction of the pools, plant rooms, amenities building, landscaping, fencing, lighting and the pool surrounds. The demolition of the existing pool and structures and removal of a section of internal road (as required) is included in the works. The Contractor will be required to commission and test the pool before handover to Council.

REGISTRATION: Tender documents may be obtained online (see option below) At a cost of $77.00 (including GST) will be incurred if you proceed to download documents via this site. Alternatively, a hard copy can be obtained from Council's Customer Service Centre at the Administration Building, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point NSW 2285 between the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday at a cost of $250.00.

ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed to David Drylie, the Project Officer via the online forum. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below) or by facsimile transmission to (02) 4958-7257, or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.

TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.

REVISED CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tuesday 15 March 2011 at 2:00 pm AEST and submissions must be received in full prior to this time. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. Late submissions are not accepted.
